  • Ballet piece for performance and filming 2026

    • Women are angry and we seem to be having a moment when that anger is being brought to light and celebrated.  In small ways.   Is it finally ok for women to scream? A recent article in the New York Times titled The Girls are Screaming makes me think it is time to go back to making work that displays women’s anger.  Not as a whiney little girl, but embodying the centuries of belittlement, restraint and control exercised over us and our bodies.  Ballet perfectly embodies out self sacrifice.
