Performer’s Bios

Carmen Callahan is from Seattle, Washington, Carmen studied at Pacific Northwest Ballet School under the direction of Peter Boal. While at PNB school, she attended summer programs at San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, Oklahoma City Ballet, and Miami City Ballet on full scholarship. She also studied under Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre as a member of their graduate program from 2015-2018. In 2018 she moved to Los Angeles, joining American Contemporary Ballet as an apprentice, and was promoted to the main company in 2019. While at ACB, Carmen had the opportunity to originate many corps and soloist roles in original works, as well as perform many neoclassical masterpieces by George Balanchine, including ‘Concerto Barocco’ and ‘Who Cares’. In 2023, she joined Hollywood Ballet, under the artistic direction of Petra Conti. Carmen has also worked as a guest principal artist with San Pedro City Ballet & Contempo Arts Productions, and is a dancer at The Realm Company. 

Ishaun Jackson-Moaney (Baltimore, MD) is an artist who moves through the worlds of dance, fashion, and music. Raised in Los Angeles, she began her training at The Lula Washington Dance Theatre and later at Align Ballet Method while attending the LA County High School for the Arts. She holds a BFA in Dance from Fordham University / The Ailey School and earned scholarships to study at The Debbie Allen Dance Academy, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet summer intensives. Ishaun has guested with Dance Theatre of Harlem in Geoffrey Holder’s "Dougla" for their "Vision Gala" at New York City Center and performed Mauro Bigonzetti’s "Festa Barroca" at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s New York City Center Opening Night Gala. She performed in Natalie Bergman’s music films "Gunslinger" and "Dance" and opened Sophie Isabella’s 2025 fashion show "Ephemeral Garden."

Jolyn Lambey was born and raised in Los Angeles and started dancing at the age of 5.  She trained at Lula Washing Dance Theater in a plethora of styles.  They attended California University, Fullerton, where they trained in ballet, Limón, Horton and Graham techniques.  They are currently a freelance dancer in Los Angeles and have performed across the US and Korea in works by Talley Beatty, Donald McKayle, Danah Bella, Jamila Glass, Michael Nickerson-Rossi, Deborah Brockus and Joshus Estrada-Romero.  This is Jolyn’s first season with Laurie Sefton Creates.

Rose Lindblom grew up in Seattle, Washington, training at West Seattle Performing Arts and Westlake Dance Center. She has attended training intensives with Northwest Dance Project, Backhaus, and WHIM W'Him. While earning her BFA in Dance from Chapman University, Rose has performed works by Dwight Rhoden, Monika Felice Smith, and Doug Baum. She is also a dancer with Emergent Dance Company and a performer in Disneyland's "Paint the Night" parade. This is Rose’s first season with Laurie Sefton Creates.

Harry Louis is a native of Los Angeles, began his dance training at California DanceArts and Bayer Ballet Academy. His exceptional talent quickly earned him full scholarships to further his studies at the Colburn School and San Francisco Ballet School. In 2020, he joined the Royal New Zealand Ballet under the direction of Patricia Barker. Throughout his career, he has performed in works by celebrated choreographers such as Liam Scarlett, Benjamin Millepied, Christopher Wheeldon, and Loughlan Prior. In addition to his international experience, Harry has showcased his versatility across multiple Los Angeles-based companies, including The Realm Company, California Contemporary Ballet, and Keshet Chaim Dance Ensemble. His journey reflects a dedication to the art of dance, marked by a strong foundation and an inspiring range of performances. This is Harry’s second season with Laurie Sefton Creates.

Zachary Medina was born and raised in Los Angeles.  His passion for dance began with Ballet Folklorico and imitating Michael Jackson videos. He refined his interest at The Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA), where he trained in ballet, modern, hip hop, contemporary, and composition. At sixteen, Zachary earned a full scholarship to attend the Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School in Colorado, where he deepened his studies in Modern, Ballet, and Composition. He went on to pursue two Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degrees in Dance Performance and Choreography at the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at the University of California, Irvine. Zachary has had the opportunity to performing in works by José Limón, Jirí Kylián, Christopher Huggins, Yuka Fukuda, Lar Lubovitch, Jenny Backhaus and Fiona Lummis. This is Zach’s second season with Laurie Sefton Creates.

Kyle Schrader (he/him) is a dancer, teacher and choreographer born and raised in Huntington Beach, California.  Kyle received his BFA in Commercial Dance from Pace University in 2021, where he focused on Choreography and Pedagogy and minored in Business.  While at Pace he worked with a variety of choreographers including Many Moore, Dee Caspary and Alexandra Damiani.  Kyle has trained in programs including American Ballet Theatre, Alonzo King’s Lines Contemporary Ballet and Art’s Umbrella.  He has performed at the Comedy Store, in the Hollywood Christmas Parade and for Huntington Beach’s Philharmonic Symphony.  Kyle is currently in his fifth season with Backhausdance company.  This is his first season with Laurie Sefton Creates.

Jane Zogbi was born, raised, and classically trained in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her introduction to contemporary dance and musical theatre began at William G. Enloe Magnet High School under the instruction of Courtney Greer and Freddie Lee Heath. A Point Park University graduate, Jane holds a BA in dance with a minor in musical theatre. Dancing, singing and acting are all part of Jane's skill-set as a multi-disciplinary artist. As a performer, Jane has worked alongside esteemed artists such as Christopher & Charlotte D'amboise, Terrence Mann, Lillian Barbeito, Tina Finkelman Berkett, Tyce Diorio, Jae Man Joo, Sidra Bell, Alexandra Damiani, Jim Cooney, Michael Rupert, Anouk Van Dijk, John Carrafa, and Mike Tyus. Most recently, Jane has been exploring the commercial world and appeared in Lila’s Forde’s new music video, “Just a Minute.” Jane identifies as a queer movement artist and is currently based in Los Angeles, California.
