Performer’s Bios
Carmen Callahan (Seattle, Washington) Carmen studied at Pacific Northwest Ballet School under the direction of Peter Boal. While at PNB school, she attended summer programs at San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, Oklahoma City Ballet, and Miami City Ballet on full scholarship. She also studied under Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre as a member of their graduate program from 2015-2018. In 2018 she moved to Los Angeles, joining American Contemporary Ballet as an apprentice, and was promoted to the main company in 2019. While at ACB, Carmen had the opportunity to originate many corps and soloist roles in original works, as well as perform many neoclassical masterpieces by George Balanchine, including ‘Concerto Barocco’ and ‘Who Cares’. In 2023, she joined Hollywood Ballet, under the artistic direction of Petra Conti. Carmen has also worked as a guest principal artist with San Pedro City Ballet & Contempo Arts Productions, and is a dancer at The Realm Company.
Camille Goldsborough is a professional ballerina based in Los Angeles. She is a Soloist with the Hollywood Ballet Company and has previously danced with The Los Angeles Ballet and The International Ballet of Ukraine, touring in Europe and performing in classical productions such as Swan Lake and The Nutcracker across Switzerland, France, and Germany. Originally from Florida, Camille began her dance training locally before moving at age 15 to study at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. She continued her education at renowned schools including Pacific Northwest Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, and the Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. Currently based in Los Angeles, Camille has expanded beyond the stage, appearing in multiple films and music videos while continuing to perform live--bringing her classical training to a wide range of performance contexts. In addition to her performing career, Camille is the founder of The Prima Club (@theprimaclub), a ballet brand and positive community for dancers of all levels. Stephen Kessler began his training at Long Beach Ballet Academy at the age of seven. While there, he had the opportunity to perform with the Classical Ballet of Guangzhou, China and traveled to China multiple times with Mr. Wilcox’s Ballet Ambassadors China Tour. Kessler furthered his training at Houston Ballet Academy on full scholarship, gaining advanced technical and performance experience. Stephen was a Principal Artist with Metrolpolitan Ballet in Utah, where he performed leading roles such as Cavalier in The Nutcracker, Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, and Perer Pan in Peter Pan. He is currently a freelance artist and is on faculty of Long Beach Ballet.
Jolyn Lambey (Los Angeles, CA) Jolyn started dancing at the age of 5. She trained at Lula Washing Dance Theater in a plethora of styles. They attended California University, Fullerton, where they trained in ballet, Limón, Horton and Graham techniques. They are currently a freelance dancer in Los Angeles and have performed across the US and Korea in works by Talley Beatty, Donald McKayle, Danah Bella, Jamila Glass, Michael Nickerson-Rossi, Deborah Brockus and Joshus Estrada-Romero. This is Jolyn’s first season with Laurie Sefton Creates.
Rose Lindblom grew up in Seattle, Washington, training at West Seattle Performing Arts and Westlake Dance Center. She has attended training intensives with Northwest Dance Project, Backhaus, and WHIM W'Him. While earning her BFA in Dance from Chapman University, Rose has performed works by Dwight Rhoden, Monika Felice Smith, and Doug Baum. She is also a dancer with Emergent Dance Company and a performer in Disneyland's "Paint the Night" parade. This is Rose’s first season with Laurie Sefton Creates.
Catie Menes is a multifaceted dancer with training in a wide range of styles, including jazz, contemporary, hip hop, song pom, and ballet. Her classical foundation has been shaped under the guidance of an American Ballet Theatre (ABT)–trained alumnus, influencing her approach to precision, musicality, and artistry. Catie is also a graduate of the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program (Class of 2025), where she further developed her movement quality and artistic voice. With a dynamic background across multiple genres, Catie brings versatility and intention to her work, blending classical discipline with contemporary expression.
Zachary Medina was born and raised in Los Angeles. His passion for dance began with Ballet Folklorico and imitating Michael Jackson videos. He refined his interest at The Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA), where he trained in ballet, modern, hip hop, contemporary, and composition. At sixteen, Zachary earned a full scholarship to attend the Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School in Colorado, where he deepened his studies in Modern, Ballet, and Composition. He went on to pursue two Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degrees in Dance Performance and Choreography at the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at the University of California, Irvine. Zachary has had the opportunity to performing in works by José Limón, Jirí Kylián, Christopher Huggins, Yuka Fukuda, Lar Lubovitch, Jenny Backhaus and Fiona Lummis. This is Zach’s second season with Laurie Sefton Creates.
